Innovation as a Driver of Growth
During the event, particular attention was also given to innovation, a central element in the vision of Oleificio Cericola.Special mention was made of the de-stoner patented by Pietro Leone, a symbol of continuous research aimed at improving both quality and efficiency.

Pietro Leone presents the “Best Person of the Year 2025” award to David Hoyles
One of the most significant moments of the Festival was the presentation of the “Best Person of the Year 2025” award to David Hoyles, founder of The English Olive Co., a pioneering company in olive cultivation in England.
The award was presented by Pietro Leone to celebrate the courage and determination of someone who chose to invest in an ambitious project within a challenging and largely unexplored environment, opening new perspectives for international olive cultivation.
In his speech, David recounted years of study and experimentation, emphasising that the greatest value of his journey lies not only in the entrepreneurial achievement itself, but also in the relationships built along the way.
