Olive trees

The love for his land pushed Pietro Leone to leave his job as an employee in the pharmaceutical sector, his first job, to devote himself entirely to his 15 hectares of olive grove. The care of olive trees aimed at the birth of healthy fruit and the subsequent creation of the olive mill in the 90s lead to the creation of an excellent quality extra virgin olive oil. In 2005 Pietro, together with his family, decided to invest in the new system of breeding ``super-intensive olive groves``. It is thus dedicated to the planting of the first extension of about two hectares, an adventure that proves to be full of satisfactions. Following years of new investments with the purchase of new land, the expansion of production, the planting of super-intensive olive groves of different varieties.

Oggi l’estensione complessiva degli uliveti è di circa 100 ettari, suddivisa tra oliveti tradizionali e superintesivi, conciliando tradizione pugliese ed innovazione globale. L’intero processo produttivo viene gestito in regime biologico, dalla coltivazione della pianta al confezionamento di olio in bottiglia.
